There's so much more to the music of the Caribbean Islands than what most people perceive. Each style is distinctly different and more exciting than the next. Tropikiimba's specialty is Afro-Latino music, which is guaranteed to get people on their feet and dancing; For example: Salsa, Timba, Songo, Bolero, Danzon, Cha Cha Cha, Charanga, Rumba, Bachata, Merengue and Vallenato. The band can also play other Afro-Caribbean styles if needed for special events.

TROPIKIIMBA is one of few authentic Caribbean Orchestras in the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. area. Many of the band members are from countries such as Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Panama, Colombia, Mexico, Dominican Republic,
St. Thomas and the United States.

La Música Caribeña es una mezcla grandiosa de distintos sonidos y ritmos que representan la esencia de todas las culturas que conforman este gran género musical… esa esencia de la cual formamos parte y con la que nos sentimos identificados.


La ORQUESTA TROPIKIIMBA, ampliamente reconocida en la costa Este de los Estados Unidos (Virginia, Maryland y Washington D.C. entre otros), ofrece una combinación perfecta de diferentes estilos caribeños: Salsa (Afro-Cubana), Timba, Songo, Bolero, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Charanga, Danzon, Bachata, Merengue y Vallenato. La orquesta ha encontrado el equilibrio perfecto para ofrecer arreglos y sonidos auténticos que se mezclan con los ritmos tradicionales, logrando así, un material nuevo y diferente al de otras orquestas que compiten en el medio.

Orquesta Tropikiimba está conformada por músicos que aportan con la experiencia y la autenticidad de sus culturas. Ellos vienen de diferentes países: Cuba, Puerto Rico, Panamá, Venezuela, Colombia, República Dominicana, Perú, México, Santo Tomás, y EEUU. Todo esto hace posible que la orquesta ofrezca en su música, un concepto nuevo que ratifica el éxito de su trayectoria y experiencia. Llevando músicos de tantos países distintos, no es un misterio que la orquesta siempre termina con la gente bailando y gritando en sus presentaciones, desde las dos Costas de los Estados Unidos hasta Asia.
